After my fathers death in March 2003, I got a puppy for my mom to keep her company. When she moved to a nursing home, he came to live with me. This necessitated the construction of a dog house.

Around this time, I heard from an old friend from my high school days. This was the first time I had seen Bruce and Teresa Boatright in many years.

Finally it was time to make some decisions regarding my parents house. My brother David and I spent an afternoon trying to make heads-or-tails of it all.

Another old friend from my youth, Rick Musal, stopped by to catch up. Rick had just passed his bar exam and begun a law practice. How far we had come since the days when he showed me my first guitar chords!
