During the first half of 1988, I started doing a lot of open mic nights at the few places around town where such things are done.

While playing at one of these places, I met an acoustic player named Danny Dolinger .  We played several gigs together, including this one at an outdoor festival downtown, May 1988.

Here are some clips from this outdoor show:
Behind Blue Eyes
Treetop Flyer
Down On The Farm
Mood For A Day
Sunday Bloodly Sunday (Danny solo)
Abbey Road (with Danny)
Closer To The Heart (with Danny)

Around this same time, I discovered that one of the guys I was working with at the TV station was a keyboard player.

Don Butala and I recorded one of his songs, called Big Siberia*. Don sang and played keyboards. I added guitar, bass and drums. Later, he added video from old movies to create a video.  It aired on the Fangus show several times. Don and I, June 1988.
